About this Event

While the world was under lockdown, boards of directors and management never stopped working on behalf of their communities. In this class we will briefly discuss best practices for taking action outside of a meeting and discuss the implications of those practices. We will discuss corporate records laws, the power to subpoena records, and why you should never say anything in an email that you would not want published in the news. We will also discuss the attorney-client privilege as it relates to communities and help boards and management understand it and work within its parameters when needed.
