HB 19-1212 Vetoed

Gov. Polis vetoed his first bills since taking office, that included HB 19-1212, which would have recreated the community association manger licensing program. In justifying his veto, Gov. Polis noted that he did not believe HB 19-1212 was adequately to determine that recreating the program would ensure consumer safety in a cost-efficient manner. Further, Gov. Polis stated that HB 19-1212 failed to include the recommendations contained in DORA’s 2017 sunset report for community association managers.
