In this class, we will talk briefly about state and federal fair housing laws, the protected classes, and the general definition of disability. We will discuss briefly what boards and managers need to know about fair housing laws in terms of discrimination, disparate impact, and requests for modification and accommodation. This will be the introductory class to the class on March 3 that discusses emotional support animals and service animals in great detail.
