Session 1:
Social Media Introduction

Intended for: Beginner / sub-Intermediate understanding
Session Time: 70 minutes (60 minutes content / 10 minutes debrief)

Most people today have used some form of social media for personal use—but what are the differences when you are using it for business or broad community communication? This session is intended to introduce managers or board members to the basics of social media with an emphasis on business use.

In this session we explore the process of defining this path and cover the following:

  1. What are the various platforms and what purpose do they serve?

  2. What platform should I use and why?

  3. How much do I need to be on the various platforms to be relevant?

  4. What audience am I attracting?

  5. The secret algorithm of content management.

Session 2:
Creating a Social Media Strategy

Intended for: Intermediate understanding
Session Time: 70 minutes (60 minutes content / 10 minutes debrief)

After grasping the basics and building upon the session of introduction to social media, it’s time to define a strategy. Organizations that do not have a social media strategy miss engagement opportunities and amplification of their brand. The latest data states that 81% of consumers start on a company’s digital footprint to understand whether they want to do business or transact with them in the future.

Social media plays an increasingly critical data element inside the decision method of today’s savvy consumer.

In this session we explore the process of defining this path and cover the following:

  1. How do I define a social media strategy?

  2. How do I build content?

  3. What is the difference between engagement and amplification?

  4. Introduction to Pay Per Click, Adwords and other social media advertising methods.

  5. Developing targeted messaging and defining key metrics to track success.

Options

Single Session: $99 per person

Silver Bundle: both sessions for $149 per person

Gold Bundle: both sessions + a customized legal Social Media policy for one association (delivered within approximately 60 days of the training) – $399 for one person

Platinum Bundle: both sessions + a customized legal Social Media policy for one association + a customized social media strategy and the first 30 days of content management completed by a consultant – $2500 for one person.
(This option will require several sessions with a consultant who will build the 12-month roadmap. Additionally, this option allows for 3 months of unlimited external support as you implement your strategy)
